Effective Date: September 1, 2026 · Applies to the Ironwood Home Solutions customer and team portal (the "Portal")
This Privacy Policy describes how Ironwood Home Solutions ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information — including Google user data — when you use the Ironwood Home Solutions Portal, available at our published application domain. The Portal is operated by Ironwood Home Solutions to support solar, roofing, and home remodeling projects for our customers, and to coordinate the Ironwood team members and subcontractors who deliver those services.
When you sign in with Google — and when our team uses Google-connected features — our application accesses, uses, and stores the following categories of Google user data, only as needed to provide the Portal's functionality:
How we use Google user data: we use it only to provide, maintain, and improve user-facing features of the Portal — for example, filing your contract where you can retrieve it, scheduling your installation, or sending you status updates. We do not use Google user data for targeted, personalized, retargeted, interest-based, or any other advertising; we do not sell it to data brokers or information resellers; we do not use it to determine credit-worthiness or for lending purposes; and we do not use it to build databases for resale.
AI and machine learning: Google Workspace APIs and Google user data are not used to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models. Any AI features in the Portal (such as assisted roof measurement reports) operate on project documents you or your Ironwood representative provide, and only to produce user-facing deliverables for your project.
Who we share it with: we do not transfer, sell, rent, or trade Google user data to third parties. It is shared only with: (a) the Ironwood team members and subcontractors assigned to your project, strictly on a need-to-know basis; (b) service providers that host and operate the Portal's infrastructure (such as hosting, authentication, document-signature, and payment-status providers), under contractual obligations to process data only on our instructions; and (c) law enforcement or regulators where we are legally required to do so. We do not share Google user data for any purpose other than providing or improving the Portal's functionality.
Protection: all data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit and stored with industry-standard encryption at rest. Access is restricted through role-based permissions so each user only sees the records appropriate to their role. We regularly review access permissions and use audit logging for document actions.
Retention and deletion: we keep Google user data only as long as your account is active or as long as needed to deliver and support your project, plus any period required to satisfy legal, accounting, warranty, and insurance obligations. When the retention period expires, we delete or destroy the data. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us at the email address below or by using the "Delete Account" option in the Portal's Settings — and you can revoke the Portal's access to your Google data at any time in your Google Account's "Security" settings under "Third-party apps with account access."
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with Ironwood team members and assigned subcontractors who need it to work on your project, with service providers that host and operate the Portal (under strict data-processing agreements), and with legal or regulatory authorities when required by law.
Your information is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we review our safeguards regularly and limit access to the minimum needed.
The Portal uses a small number of cookies strictly necessary to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, and aggregated usage analytics to keep the service reliable. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
You may review and update your account information in the Portal's Settings page. You may request deletion of your account using the "Delete Account" option in Settings, or by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information — contact us at the email below to exercise any of them.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to complete and support your project, and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy legal, accounting, and warranty obligations. When the retention period ends, we delete or destroy the data.
The Portal is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change to how we use Google user data or your personal information, we will notify users through the Portal and update the "Effective Date" shown above. Continued use of the Portal after changes means you accept the updated policy.
